Step into the magic of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast with our guided Sea Turtle Night Tours. Our neighboring beaches are among the most important nesting sites for the green sea turtle and are also visited by the olive ridley turtle—two threatened species that play a vital role in ocean health.

Led by an experienced bi-lingual female marine biologist, the evening begins with a short presentation on sea turtle biology, ecology, and conservation. Afterwards, we walk to the beach under the stars, where—with luck—you may witness a turtle nesting or even the glow of bioluminescence in the sand.

At Finca Mística, we follow responsible wildlife-watching practices so that you can admire sea turtles up close without disturbing their important mission.

Duration: 1–3 hours (depending on turtle activity and group energy)

What to bring: closed-toe shoes, water, and dark/non-bright clothing

Note: We walk without flashlights; red light is used only when necessary to avoid disrupting the turtles.
